This summer you can make a difference to local people and their families affected
by cancer as KA Leisure and cancer care charity Macmillan Cancer Support are
calling on the people of North Ayrshire to join in KA Leisure’s Fun Run and family
day out in the beautiful Eglinton Country Park, Kilwinning on Sunday 28th August.

The Board of North Ayrshire Leisure Limited wishes to announce that its' Chief Executive, Mr Frank Keddilty will retire from his post as Chief Executive on 31 December 2010.

Mr Keddilty has successfully led the Company since it was moved to an arm's length organisation by North Ayrshire Council in 2000.  In his time as Chief Executive, Mr Keddilty has managed and directed the diversification of the company with the setting up of KA Leisure, whilst continuing strong partnership working with North Ayrshire Council.

The Board would wish to thank Mr Keddilty for his leadership of the Company over the past 10 years and wish him well for the future.

The 4^th and final race of the North Ayrshire School’s Cross Country League took place at Irvine Beach Park on Saturday 27^th November on a cold and sunny day over crisp snow. It was another well attended event with 75 children taking part throughout the day.  Click link below for the race 4 and overall results.

K:A Leisure’s pool customers who asked for rewards for regular swimmers can now take advantage of the NEW POOL LOYALTY CARD SCHEME and benefit from FREE SWIMS.

Customers simply pick up a Pool Loyalty Card from reception and have their Pool Loyalty Card stamped when paying for their swim.  When all boxes have been stamped, the Pool Loyalty Card can then be redeemed for a FREE swim up to and including 31st March, 2011! There is no limit to the number of loyalty cards customers complete during the period of the Scheme which runs from 1st November until 28th February, 2011.

K:A Leisure’s Pool Loyalty Cards are available from Auchenharvie Leisure Centre, Garnock Swimming Pool, Magnum Leisure Centre and Vikingar.

The 2nd race of the North Ayrshire School’s Cross Country League took place at Irvine Beach Park on Saturday 2nd October. It was another well attended event with 152 children taking part throughout the day.  Click link below for full results. SPOOK’TACULAR BIG DAYS THIS OCTOBER ...Come and join the FUN with K:A Leisure

K:A Leisure is offering lots to do at their popular BIG Days during the OCTOBER holiday.

With exciting children’s games, sports and play activities and lots, lots, more the BIG Days are BIG on family fun and this October there are two BIG Day events packed full with a Halloween theme: 

Magnum Leisure Centre, Irvine   - Wednesday 13th October £3.00
Vikingar! Largs     - Friday 15th October  £2.00

Each BIG Day the fun begins at 11am with hours of jam-packed entertainment and activities for the kids and cool stuff for Mums and Dads happening throughout the day until 4pm. 
 
So what’ll be there at the BIG DAYS? … packed with Fun ‘n’ Games, Urban arts, crafts, DJs, face painting, mini Vikings, bouncy castles, Street Dance, fun inflatable's, Aqua fun, on the spot competitions and loads more Halloween themed events what more could you want! 
 
Stay and play all day for only £2.00 per person at all events at Vikingar! and at Magnum Leisure Centre the admission is £3.00 per person (prices apply equally to adults and children).  NB. Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
