This summer you can make a difference to local people and their families affected
by cancer as KA Leisure and cancer care charity Macmillan Cancer Support are
calling on the people of North Ayrshire to join in KA Leisure’s Fun Run and family
day out in the beautiful Eglinton Country Park, Kilwinning on Sunday 28th August.

Many people coming to the event may have a friend or family member who has
been touched by cancer and KA Leisure are delighted to give of their time and
expertise to support fundraising on the day for Macmillan with any money raised
from this special run (or walk) being used to fund Macmillan's vital services in the
local area, from specialist nurses and doctors, to providing help and advice for
people who have financial problems as a result of their cancer.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for local families to join in the fun at a beautiful
location in the heart of Ayrshire. Macmillan relies almost entirely on donations to
fund our vital cancer services so we want as many people as possible to take on

All of us at KA Leisure hope this event will encourage families to be more active
and enjoy what promises to be a fun packed day at the stunning Eglinton Park
where they can joint in a treasure hunt, games, mini health checks, mini races,
organised play and much more.

Event begins at 11.30am. You can register for the run/walk on the day from
10:30am at Eglington Park or in advance by calling 01294 605128 or just turn up
and join in the fun!
